Over the next several years the South African operation developed a highly sophisticated corporate/retail trade. Conceptualized, developed and implemented the following systems:

Consolidated client accounting in a highly integrated and effective system backbone for reporting and control . Full integration of final accounts. Set up legal controls and established legal structures.

As management we developed strong skills and focused on high quality trade management at all its levels i.e. integrated processing for client and management, financial structures, strong legal focus and general client and broker information dissemination.

1980 – 1985

Finance & Marketing Director of CF Direct sales organization of Household appliances, became a large contributor to national franchise sales. Negotiated the sale of the division.

Established, developed and later merged a general excess inventory merchandise operation into a national distribution and marketing company, which was later   successfully sold.

- Pepsi Cola SA and SA OIL MILLS - Divisional reasonability to monitor and advise the Group Chairman directly on operation matters. Tiger Oats is a Top 50 SA listed. 

-Responsible for the evaluation/implementation of LIFO into the group, resulted in annual tax savings of several million. Further saving occurred through lateral thinking of the taxes base.

- Involved in export incentives in which our proposals advanced saving accruing to the group as well as computerization of monthly management reporting and year end/ consolidations.
